Passionate about crafting software that scales

I'm Mahamudul Hasan Rubel — a software engineer from Dhaka, Bangladesh, with 12+ years of building for the web. What began as freelance projects in 2011 has grown into a career spanning SaaS platforms, WordPress products used by thousands, and modern React/Next.js applications.

Today I lead backend and SaaS architecture at JoulesLabs, where my team builds ReviewX— a WooCommerce reviews platform trusted by 10,000+ businesses worldwide. Over the last few years I've gone deep on Laravel, REST APIs, and scalable backend systems, while staying hands-on across the full stack.

I care about the things that quietly make software good: clean architecture, fast load times, and code the next engineer can actually read. I try to lead the same way — clearly, patiently, and with respect for the people I work with. If you're building something that matters, I'd genuinely love to hear about it.

Started Freelancing

Began building websites for clients worldwide on Upwork, Fiverr, and Freelancer — learning to ship under real deadlines and talk directly with the people I was building for.

Leading a Team at Nexus IT

Joined Nexus IT as Senior Web Developer and led a small web team, owning client meetings and on-time delivery of corporate and eCommerce projects.

2014

Started Teaching

Began teaching WordPress and Linux as an instructor — eventually mentoring 30+ aspiring developers into their first tech roles.

2015

Founded Ract Software Solutions

Started my own company as Founder, CEO & CTO — delivering WordPress products and custom PHP software while building and leading the team.

2017

Went Full Remote with Ract Studio

Ran my own remote studio for 7+ years, delivering 50+ projects end to end as a full-stack and DevOps engineer.

2021

Scaling to Millions at Triple A Tech

Led full-stack development of large-scale, content-heavy WordPress platforms collectively serving 5M+ users.

2024

Joined JoulesLabs to lead backend and SaaS architecture for ReviewX — a WooCommerce reviews platform trusted by 10,000+ businesses worldwide.

Engineering Philosophy

Ship incrementally

Prefer small, working releases over big-bang launches. Real users reveal what specs cannot.

Performance is a feature

Every millisecond matters. Lighthouse scores, query times, and bundle sizes are first-class citizens.

Code is communication

Clear, readable code is documentation. I write for the next engineer, not the compiler.

Lift the whole team

A rising tide lifts all boats. Investing in the people around me multiplies what we ship together.

Beyond Code

I've taught WordPress and Linux to 30+ students, several of whom now work as professional developers. I also build and share independent tools — like CodeToolStack and the open-source Essential WP Tools plugin — because the best way I know to learn is to build something real and put it out into the world.
